I’ve been working in the healthcare field since graduating with my Bachelor’s in Leisure Studies in 2012. My heart for people and the helping profession began at a young age and I found my passion for people while completing my undergraduate degree in Therapeutic Recreation.

I fell in love with the brain and how it works during my time at Oklahoma State and knew I wanted to be a counselor. After becoming certified as a CTRS (Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist) in 2012, I’ve worked in settings such as Memory Care, Community Based Physical Rehabilitation, Inpatient Psychiatric and Outpatient Med-Psych; working with ages 4 to 94. I graduated with my Masters in Human Relations in 2016 from the University of Oklahoma.

For the past few years I have been counseling people on the Autism Spectrum and working with individuals struggling to make and maintain social connections. I bring a strong understanding of family systems and the social and emotional challenges that we all face in life. I am passionate about learning peoples’ stories, and strive to meet people where they are and come along side them to be a part of their journey. My goal is to build a trusting relationship with my clients where they feel safe to explore and build on their own strengths to achieve their goals.
